Mold making of the 935 seat (lollipop). The seat on the left has the material removed from the front and the rear. The seat on the right is what it would look like.

The seat on the left has the carpet removed. The seat on the right is what it would look like.

These pictures show the bottoms. Once the material is removed, the glue residue is removed with lacquer thinner. The seat is then waxed with six coats of mold release wax.

Then we use tooling gel-coat to spray the seat which is the mold surface.

This will be covered tomorrow with 6-8 layers of 1 1/2 oz matt.

We'll take the mold from the seat on friday and start making seats.
