While we have been away at the races Rene and Eli have been keeping up on the RATT.

Here is one of the rear lower control arms (bananas). Notice how rough the surface is. Back when the cars were raced, they were simply painted but since we have the time, we are in the process of polishing them. This increases not only the "cool factor" of them but it also strengthens the pieces.

Here Eli is starting the process of polishing one of the bananas.

In this photo you can see a finished piece.

Rene is welding away, getting closer and closer to finishing the front of the tub.

Here is a panel that has been added to close in an unnecessary hole.

This piece has just been tack welded into place, now that it fits correctly the rest of the weld will be applied.
