The mold has eight layers of matt and is ready for trimming.

The part has been removed and the tape lines are where the mold will be trimmed.

The part has been reinstalled to index all the holes.

Now I'm color sanding the mold surface with 320, then 500 grit, wet and dry. It will be polished in the morning and I'll make a practice part. I say practice because it will take a few times to get the neutral gel coat to be the original amber translucent color (the color is important for originality).

While Jack and I are working on the three 904 projects, Andy has been motoring along on the dashboard switches and lights.
