Andy is skinning the other exhaust tray (undertray exhaust opening) with heat shield. Again, this saves the paint for awhile. This was not used by Porsche, therefore it is not original to a restoration, but why ruin the undertray when you can at least keep it in decent shape for a few years. You do not see this when the car is at ride height level.

When the cookie cutter is installed, it looks like a normal 906.
