The new hood has been finished and taken out of the mold, we weighed it to see exactly how heavy it is. You can see it's just at 10lbs.

We also weighed the old hood, its just a little over 30lbs. A pretty big savings in just one small piece of body work.

Here is the back side of the hood. The cross member is being sanded for paint; the other areas have been taped off because the mat material stays sticky and doesn't need any prep before paint. This keeps the mat clean and free of any unwanted extra particles.
