Gunnar Racing G-99 (10/08/00)

Here's the G-99 chassis. This view shows the rear of the chassis, inverted. As the car will run in LMP 675, we are trying to get some of the weight out.

 

Here's a front view of the inverted chassis. You can see the holes that have been drilled out. This will help get some of the weight out, without effecting the performance potential of the car. There will be a layer of carbon fiber added, after all of the other work is done.

Here's the gearbox, being readied, so it can be attached to the chassis. This unit is out of a Porsche GT-1, so reliability won't be a problem.
