Andy is
making black on the rack! All the parts are gathered to assemble
the rear radius rods.
While
Andy is assembling, Devo is removing all the studs from the
rear uprights so we can give these a coat of original.
Andy is
in the greasing procedure. 904's had zerk fittings so you
could service these joints through time. Just because your
904 doesn't have these grease fittings, doesn't mean they
are not original.
The dust
retainer (in this case black rubber) go on either side to
keep dirt from mixing with the grease, therefore causing the
joints to wear out sooner if not protected. A lot of these
dust retainers were rust colored. They are correct either
way.
